2. Brings Unpredictability To WWE
WWE has been quite predictable since the post WrestleMania season. The last thing I was actually surprised by was The Undertaker’s appearance at the RAW after WWE Stomping Grounds to save Roman Reigns from Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. Most of the storylines these days are quite predictable. Similarly, the outcomes of most matches are crystal clear to many fans.
Trish Stratus vs. Charlotte Flair is just another match of which fans know the outcome of. According to majority of predictions, Flair is set to walk out of SummerSlam as the winner. However, WWE should pull a swerve in this bout.
Trish Stratus should definitely win this match. WWE has set a trend of making legends lose their last match. The most recent example is of Kurt Angle, who lost a pointless match to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania, and then retired.
Stratus losing would just be another result the fans knew already. However, a win against Flair would leave the crowd surprised, and also bring a whole new level of unpredictability to WWE.
