1. SummerSlam Is Coming Up
The biggest party of the summer, WWE SummerSlam, is almost two months away which is why WWE must start building up a rivalry which will spark fans’ interest for the event. Rollins needs to start feuding with another top guy in the company because that’s what’s best for business. Fans would love to see someone like The Miz or Bray Wyatt feuding with Rollins for the title.
It would not only spark fans’ interest but it will also lead to higher ratings. The Man’s credibility will also enhance as the face of the red brand.
If the rivalry ends this Sunday, WWE will have enough time to build a solid rivalry for the Universal Title match at SummerSlam.
It is time for both men to go their separate ways. Baron Corbin must evolve as a performer and add dimensions to his horrendously stale character. And Seth Rollins must be revitalized with a new challenger and new material to really sink his teeth into.
He needs to rediscover his edge and remind everyone why he originally became so popular last summer.
