– Tonight’s Draft edition of SmackDown kicked off with Paul Heyman announcing that Roman Reigns has voluntarily withdrawn himself from the 2024 Draft.
Heyman said The Head of the Table has built SmackDown since the pandemic and he isn’t leaving the brand.
Paul also said since Roman won’t be returning in the immediate future, he won’t be hogging the No.1 Draft pick spot, that’s not what a “real” Tribal Chief does.
– Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles signed the contract to make their WWE Championship match official for Backlash France.
– Triple H and Cody Rhodes announced the 1st Round Draft picks. Here are the picks:

– Carmelo Hayes came out and told WWE Champion Cody Rhodes that when he shoots, he don’t miss. Carmelo said he wants to shoot his shot against The American Nightmare. Cody accepted Carmelo’s challenge for a match tonight.
– LWO (Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee) def. Legado Del Fantasma (Angel & Berto)
After the match, Santos Escobar said he has something to show, and it’s backstage footage that showed Carlito attacking fellow LWO member Dragon Lee before WrestleMania 40. Carlito then officially turned heel, pushed Lee into Mysterio and took him out with a Backstabber and ran away.

– Randy Orton saved Kevin Owens from Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga.

– Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes def. Carmelo Hayes
Cody showed respect to Carmelo after the match. AJ Styles almost attacked Cody from behind, but stopped and said he was this close to laying out Cody. Both men shook hands to end the show.
