1. To Bring Something Fresh For The Fans
WWE has been pretty unpredictable over the past month. The most unpredictable thing they did recently was making Seth Rollins become the Universal Champion once again, when no one expected him to beat Brock Lesnar twice in one year.
Sasha Banks defeating the dominant Becky Lynch also looks imminent in the coming months. It isn’t necessary that it will happen at Clash Of Champions, but it will definitely happen before the year ends.
Becky Lynch has been the top woman in WWE for almost a year now. She won the Women’s Royal Rumble back in January, and then went on to win both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 35.
However, it’s finally time that WWE brings something new now. Although the fans won’t stop loving Lynch, but a change in the near future would be good for developing better storylines. The Man has conquered every woman on the WWE roster. It’s about time she puts someone else over.
In addition, WWE has both Women’s Champions on RAW and SmackDown as babyfaces. Banks winning the title would establish a heel as the top woman on RAW. Moreover, it will help WWE to book fresh storylines, and bring new faces into the RAW Women’s Title picture.
