1. Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro Win The SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The New Day will put their SmackDown Tag Team Championship on the line exactly two months after their last defense in a Fatal-4-Way match at Money In The Bank against John Morrison and The Miz, Lucha House Party and The Forgotten Sons.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro have the upper hand over the Champions, as they already got a victory over them a couple of weeks ago. Nakamura also defeated Kofi Kingston last week.
Kingston and Big E’s Title reign has surpassed more than 60 days, and they haven’t done anything significant so far, so they may drop the Titles tonight. Besides, a heel duo like Nakamura and Cesaro would have more challengers for them on the blue brand.
While WWE could give The New Day a win tonight to make it 1-1 between them and Nakamura/Cesaro, the better outcome would be Nakamura and Cesaro becoming the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
WWE could even go with a messy finish to set up a third encounter between them at The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules.
