WWF Stone Cold Steve Austin The Undertaker

– When Austin asked Taker why he didn’t retire after WrestleMania 30, Taker said it got personal after this as he refused to retire in a match that he couldn’t even remember.

– Taker noted it’s his pride that got him to return earlier this year at Extreme Rules 2019 PPV because he wouldn’t let a bad night at the office be the last thing that people remember (referring to his match with Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown 2019 in Saudi Arabia).

– Austin then asked Taker about his current status and Taker said ‘regardless of anything, I’m gonna write my own story and my own ending’.

– Taker said what gets him is when people tell him what to do when they haven’t been in his shoes and haven’t had the journey that he has had.

– Taker has a 2 hour process of getting ready for his matches nowadays – stretching, meeting the doctors, etc.

– Austin apologized to Taker for busting his ear open with his knee brace during their match at Insurrextion 2001.
