4. Challenge For The Intercontinental Championship
The King Of Strong Style against The Guru Of Greatness is something which we have never seen. The two men going head-to-head in a WWE ring would be a dream come true for some fans and would also prove to be an exciting bout.
Shinsuke Nakamura hasn’t done much since winning the Intercontinental Championship. His title defenses have been few as compared to the other champions on the roster. His last defense was against Roman Reigns last month on an episode of SmackDown.
John Morrison returning to challenge Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship would be a fresh matchup and also an interesting storyline to see. A face Morrison vs. heel Nakamura and a manager like Sami Zayn would make a decent feud.
WWE can even use Morrison to dethrone Nakamura as the Intercontinental Champion and bring something new for the Intercontinental Championship on the blue brand. The 3-Time Intercontinental Champion is no stranger to the title and winning it would make it more prestigious.
Winning the title would also open some options for great feuds against wrestlers like The Miz. Both former best friends could battle to prove who has been the better Intercontinental Champion.
