WrestleMania 41 is shaping up with a lineup of blockbuster matches featuring some of WWE’s biggest stars.
One highly anticipated bout is Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship, which WWE is crafting to elevate Rhodes as a top star while providing Cena with another iconic WrestleMania moment. The potential fireworks of this clash have fans buzzing.
In the women’s division, two major matches are reportedly in the works. Billi Bhatti revealed, “The WWE did not have a single match booked for WrestleMania 100% other than a rematch between Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley, which we are moving towards.” This showdown gained momentum after Lynch re-signed with WWE.
Additionally, Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Championship is being discussed after Stratton shocked fans by cashing-in her Money In The Bank briefcase during SmackDown’s three-hour debut to defeat Nia Jax.
Bhatti also noted, “It does look very much like Charlotte Flair or Becky will be winning the Royal Rumble,” setting the stage for this potential matchup.
Another major match involves Gunther, with WWE reportedly considering Logan Paul as his opponent, according to PWInsider. While it’s unclear if Gunther will enter WrestleMania as champion, this clash is being discussed following Paul’s recent move to RAW.
Roman Reigns’ plans are shifting toward a blockbuster match against CM Punk, marking 11 years since their last singles match. Sources noted via Fightful Select:
“We’d heard a number of weeks ago that this wasn’t particularly the plan, but had been adjusted of late. We’re told that CM Punk had also hoped for the match.”
