4. Neville’s Biggest Victory
WWE announced just hours before the PPV last night that Daniel Bryan won’t be competing in his scheduled IC title match.
So WWE announced that Neville would be facing Bad News Barrett in the Extreme Rules Kickoff match, which was his first WWE PPV match.
People were thinking Neville might job out to Barrett so as to keep Barrett strong as the #1 contender for the IC title but Neville didn’t disappoint and defeated the 5 time Intercontinental Champion! Also, it was a good decision to put Neville over as Barrett is going no where creatively.
