4. Triple Powerbomb to Randy Orton by The Shield, Rollins retains
As we reported earlier, WWE officials were against the idea of re-igniting the feud with the former Shield members until next year as plans were for the 3 Shield members to headline WrestleMania 32 in the WWE World Title match.
According to latest reports, WWE is planning to do some kind of a tease in regards to the Shield reuniting at Payback 2015 tonight. There have been some concerns as of late about “pulling the trigger” on this idea as all 3 members now have their own identity and if they decide to the reunion angle, it won’t be a step in the forward direction.
That tease might be all 3 former members of the Shield performing a Triple Powerbomb on Randy Orton. It should be noted that Seth Rollins is expected to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Title tonight as he’s scheduled to work a program with Brock Lesnar this summer.
