2. Possibility of a new Intercontinental Champion
After last week’s Raw, it was reported that Daniel Bryan was scheduled to work tonight’s Payback PPV and next week’s TV tapings where he was scheduled to start an angle where a new Intercontinental Champion would have been crowned.
But according to latest reports, Daniel Bryan has been pulled from Payback PPV and won’t be appearing in any form. WWE officials decided to keep him off TV so that he can focus on his physical therapy.
Possibility of a new Intercontinental Champion being crowned tonight is very less as they plan to crown a new champion at the Elimination Chamber PPV where the IC Title will be defended inside the Elimination Chamber. But we get some kind of announcement regarding the title or some kind of a qualifying tournament.
