2. The Miz
The Miz has brought a change to his character since turning face. He was set to face Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam last Sunday, but plans changed at the last moment, and WCW Legend Goldberg replaced him.
However, he got the opportunity to face Ziggler the following night on RAW. The Showoff tried to trick him into thinking that he was injured, and tried to beat him down, but he failed miserably. The match was made official when Ziggler attacked The Miz, and it ended with The Miz winning in dominating fashion.
But it doesn’t look like this rivalry will proceed any further. Ziggler’s contract with WWE was till the night after SummerSlam, and it looks like he won’t be working any more events until Vince McMahon convinces him to sign a new contract.
On the other hand, The Miz needs to get into a proper feud now, as he hasn’t done anything relevant since WrestleMania. WWE can set up the rivalry between The Miz and Bray Wyatt which they hinted a couple of months ago, when Abby from Wyatt’s Firefly Funhouse was seen behind The Miz backstage.
A rivalry between The Miz and The Fiend would be a pretty unique one, and the promos the two men would deliver would be pure gold. The Miz is one of the top babyfaces in WWE, and feuding with a monster heel like The Fiend would set up an intriguing bout.
