2. Sell Out The Scotiabank Arena
WWE taking over the Scotia Bank Arena for one night is great. Fans in Canada are getting a big WWE event after a few years. They usually get to see a WWE tour for one week, twice every year.
Most of the wrestlers that will be on the SummerSlam match-card won’t be special attractions, since they’ve been working WWE events in Canada for the past couple of years. However, Goldberg’s case is different. Goldberg hasn’t competed in Canada since Survivor Series 2016.
Ironically, the last time WWE had a major event in Canada, they used Goldberg to sell out the event. Moreover, the casual and old school fans will be pleased to see him. Last time when he walked down the ramp to face Brock Lesnar, the Canadian fans gave him a warm welcome.
Goldberg being on the SummerSlam match card will boost ticket sales and help WWE to fill the arena with a capacity of over 20,000 people.
