3. Rey Mysterio Costs Brock Lesnar The WWE Championship
The rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez has heated up ever since Velasquez made his debut in the WWE to take out Lesnar. The Beast and Velasquez will go head-to-head tonight after 9 years, but this time it’ll be inside the squared circle.
It all started back when The Beast Incarnate attacked Rey Mysterio and his son Dominick on an episode of RAW to send a message to then-WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. Although Lesnar won the title from Kingston, he had already put himself in trouble for attacking the Mysterios.
Cain Velasquez came to the aid of Rey and Dominick, who he considers his family. Velasquez is more furious than ever due to Lesnar assaulting Dominick again and blindsiding him as well.
Velasquez vs. Lesnar is going to be a very physical bout. However, Rey Mysterio could prove to be the turning point in the match. Mysterio wants revenge from The Beast for all the pain he put him and his son through over the past month.
We might see Mysterio costing Lesnar the WWE Championship if he gets closer to defeating Velasquez.
