Tonight is WWE’s biggest event of the Summer, SummerSlam 2017. A total of 13 matches will take place on tonight’s show (10 matches on the main card and 3 on the Kickoff show).
The main event of the evening will be a Fatal 4 Way match for the Universal Championship featuring Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman & Samoa Joe, while the co-main event of the evening will see “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal defending the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. 5. New Champions On Raw
Tonight at SummerSlam 2017, the team of Cesaro & Sheamus will defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against the former Shield members, Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose. Current plan is for Rollins & Ambrose to win the Tag Team Titles tonight and become Raw’s #1 tag team. One of the reasons why Cesaro & Sheamus are dropping the Tag Team Titles is that Sheamus will be taking time off from WWE programming to film a new WWE Studios movie, Buddy Games.
