WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin will be returning to RAW this Monday night to celebrate 3/16 day. The Texas Rattlesnake was last seen on an episode of RAW back in September at Madison Square Garden, where he officiated a contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.
While Austin will be raising hell and holding another beer bash, it won’t be as entertaining as it is in front of a live crowd. Fans will witness Austin on their screens from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida with no live audience.
While we don’t know what exactly Austin is going to do on RAW, we have 5 guesses about his next role on the red brand.
5. Confronts Randy Orton For Trying To Put Edge Back To Retirement
Randy Orton has once again turned into The Legend Killer since meeting his former tag team partner Edge in the ring. Orton went back to his dark side the night he tried to injure Edge.
After he took out The Rated-R Superstar, he completely destroyed Matt Hardy to take him out of action. He crossed all limits and hit Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix, with an RKO two weeks ago.
As it is one of the hottest rivalries on RAW right now, Stone Cold could play a part in it. Austin knows what it feels like to go through a career-threatening neck injury, and that is what Edge went through as well. Miraculously though, Edge recovered after 9 years and returned to the ring.
Austin could question Orton tonight on why he tried to sideline Edge once again. They might not get physical, but Orton could show some viciousness towards him as well. If Orton crosses the line, Edge could show up and make the save for Austin.
