4. The New Day Retain The SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Revival’s first reign as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions came to an end last week on SmackDown in the UK when Big E and Kofi Kingston defeated them to become 7-Time Tag Team Champions.
Tonight, they’ll be facing off once again for the titles but with the roles switched this time.
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder will be looking to win their second SmackDown Tag Team Titles while The New Day would want to kick off their 7th Tag Team Championship reign in style by getting a win over The Revival. The winner of the match will also represent SmackDown against The Undisputed Era of NXT and The Viking Raiders of RAW at Survivor Series 2019.
As New Day will be having their first title defense tonight, there’s a huge possibility that they’ll go over The Revival. However, we cannot count out chances of WWE pulling a swerve like last week and making The Revival win the match.
Another possibility is that WWE can go with an angle where The Undisputed Era or The Viking Raiders show up to take out both teams with the match ending in a disqualification.
One way or another, New Day will most probably walk out with the titles tonight.
