The second last episode of Friday Night SmackDown before Survivor Series will emanate tonight from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the 33rd edition of Survivor Series comes closer, chaos between RAW, SmackDown and NXT looks imminent.
Last week’s show took place in the United Kingdom where The New Day won their 7th Tag Team Championship by defeating The Revival. In addition, Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman squashed the beef between them to get on the same page.
NXT UK’s Imperium also made an attempt to invade the blue brand, while NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler once again assaulted SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. King Corbin got a huge victory against Roman Reigns, while “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt claimed his next victim, who was surprisingly Daniel Bryan.
Tonight’s show will feature a rematch between The New Day and The Revival for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Daniel Bryan will also be appearing on Miz TV to respond to The Fiend’s attack on him. We can also expect some more invasion angles on tonight’s show.
In this article, let’s take a look at 5 things that could happen on SmackDown tonight.
5. The Last Member Of SmackDown’s Women’s Team Is Announced
As Survivor Series comes closer, RAW, SmackDown and NXT are preparing the best possible superstars from their roster to win the brand war. While the men’s team for RAW and SmackDown have been announced, all three brands are still choosing women for their teams.
The women’s team of the blue brand will be led by “The Boss” Sasha Banks, who will join forces with Dana Brooke, Carmella and Lacey Evans. The last member is yet to be announced.
It looks like the last member will be announced tonight. One of the strongest contenders to join Team SmackDown is Nikki Cross and that’s why she’ll face SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley tonight.
If Nikki beats Bayley, then she’ll join Team SmackDown.
