1. DX Helps Ricochet Against The O.C.
We shouldn’t forget that Ricochet still has an on-going rivalry with The O.C. AJ Styles and Ricochet have been going at it since Styles defeated Ricochet on an episode of RAW to become the number one contender for the United States Championship. The rivalry heated up further more when Styles got help from Gallows and Anderson to win the United States Championship at the Extreme Rules PPV.
The following night, Ricochet tried to get revenge on The OC, but he was taken away by the referees. The former United States Champion could not appear on RAW Reunion last week due to an elbow infection, but this week, he’ll have his sights set on the United States Title.
However, Ricochet needs some backup against The OC, because the numbers game always goes against him. Two wrestlers who would be willing to help Ricochet against The OC are Triple H and Shawn Michaels, the legendary D-Generation X.
DX helping Ricochet to fend off The OC was the original plan for last week’s RAW Reunion, but Seth Rollins replaced him due to the elbow infection.
If WWE is going to go forward with this storyline, we might see The OGs appear again tonight. This may very well set up a match between The OC and Ricochet and DX.
