3. Baron Corbin Advances Into The Final Of The King Of The Ring
Baron Corbin defeated Cedric Alexander to advance into the semi-finals of the King Of The Ring Tournament. Although he gave Corbin a tough time, Alexander did not compete at a 100% because of the beat-down The O.C. gave him earlier that night.
While the first semi-finalist on RAW was decided easily, the second one (or should I say ones) was decided in a controversial way. Ricochet and Samoa Joe went head-to-head in an amazing bout to earn the right to face Corbin in the semi-finals. However, the match ended in a double pin-fall which led to both guys advancing into the semis.
Tonight on RAW, Corbin, Joe and Ricochet will square off in a triple threat match for the opportunity to advance into the final round of King Of The Ring 2019.
Corbin will most likely win the bout. While Joe has very low chances of winning, Ricochet may surprise us with a win. Paul Heyman is high on Ricochet. He got the most surprising win of the tournament against Drew McIntyre, so we can’t count him out yet.
However, by the look of things currently, it looks like that Corbin will become the first finalist of King Of The Ring 2019. Perhaps Vince McMahon has decided to put the crown on him.
