2. AJ Styles Wins The United States Championship
AJ Styles is looking to win his third United States Championship at Extreme Rules against Ricochet. Styles has already defeated Ricochet once in a non-title match. He would love to repeat the history.
Things have heated up between the two over the past few weeks. Styles reunited with his good brothers, Gallows and Anderson, to reform The Club. Styles certainly has the upper hand going into Extreme Rules, as The Club has helped him to demoralize the United States Champion by beating him down two weeks in a row.
Ricochet won the United States Title at Stomping Grounds three weeks ago. His win was surprising as he defeated Samoa Joe in his first title defense. Does the same fate await him?
WWE won’t end Ricochet’s reign too soon, but it’s not impossible. With the star power The Phenomenal One has, WWE might put the strap on him.
