3. Randy Orton Explains Why He Attacked Edge

“The Rated-R Superstar” Edge made a surprise return in the Men’s Royal Rumble 2020 match last month and had a pretty impressive performance in it. He even had a short reunion with his former Tag Team partner, Randy Orton, with whom he teamed up to hit a Double RKO on Drew McIntyre.

However, their reunion didn’t last long as Edge eliminated The Viper from the match as soon as he turned his back towards Edge.
The following night on RAW, Edge came out to thank the fans for the warm welcome they gave him, but unfortunately things did not end well for him.
Randy Orton came out to act like he was happy for Edge, but he ended up brutalizing The Rated-R Superstar. He crossed the line and used steel chairs to try to damage Edge’s neck.
While the reason for Orton’s action was clear, he will probably come out tonight to justify what he did to Edge. He may even challenge Edge to a match at Super ShowDown or WrestleMania.
On the other hand, Edge’s appearance tonight looks unlikely as he will be selling Orton’s attack. In addition, his appearances per year are quite limited.
