5. Jeff Hardy Takes His Revenge Against Sheamus
After their brutal encounter at Backlash last month, Jeff Hardy and Sheamus will go head-to-head once again on tonight’s SmackDown in a Bar Room Brawl. The match was moved from Extreme Rules to tonight’s SmackDown to boost the show’s ratings.
The Charismatic Enigma will be looking to prove Sheamus wrong and redeem himself, while The Celtic Warrior will be looking to finish Hardy by making it 2-0 against him.
It’s likely that Hardy will win the Bar Room Brawl, as this match will showcase Hardy’s struggles with substance abuse. If WWE really wants to show Hardy’s redemption, then they’ll have him finish this feud in a Bar with a win.
However, if WWE wants to give Hardy a win at a big stage like SummerSlam, then they may give the win to Sheamus.
