4. Braun Strowman Wins Back The Intercontinental Championship
When Sami Zayn started managing Shinsuke Nakamura, The Artist was already carrying the Intercontinental Championship. No one thought that the Title would end on his manager’s shoulder in the future.
At Elimination Chamber this past Sunday, Zayn, Nakamura and Cesaro teamed up to take on former Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman in a 3-On-1 Handicap match. With efforts from all 3 wrestlers, Zayn capitalized in the end to pin Strowman and become the new Intercontinental Champion.
The night was surely a historic one for Zayn, so he’ll probably celebrate it tonight. However, The Monster Among Men might not give up on the Title just yet. He just won the Title a month ago, and he would want another shot at it.
We could see him coming after Zayn tonight. If Zayn isn’t cleared to wrestle, he could even drop the Title to Strowman in a short rematch tonight.
