6 Things That Might Happen On Tonight’s SmackDown From The WWE Performance Center

SmackDown Live

The road to WrestleMania 36 is clear now. Now that all the pay-per-view events to build up the show are done, WWE will be shifting gears. The company will be airing tonight’s show from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida due to coronavirus situation.

At Elimination Chamber last Sunday, Sami Zayn pinned Braun Strowman in the 3-on-1 Handicap match to become the new Intercontinental Champion. John Morrison and The Miz successfully retained their SmackDown Tag Team Titles in the Elimination Chamber match, while Daniel Bryan defeated Drew Gulak in a classic.

Tonight’s show will feature the return of Jeff Hardy and an appearance from John Cena and Paige. Cena will be there to continue his feud with Bray Wyatt, while Paige has vowed to confront SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. Expect more fallout from Elimination Chamber on tonight’s show.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at 6 things that might happen on SmackDown tonight.

6. Drew Gulak Attacks Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan Angry

After his rivalry with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt ended, Daniel Bryan started working the lower mid-card to help the underused wrestlers on SmackDown. Bryan has done a fantastic job in bringing wrestlers like Drew Gulak, Heath Slater and Curtis Axel in the spotlight.

Currently, Bryan is focusing on the newcomer Gulak, who hasn’t been used much since his debut on the blue brand. The former Cruiserweight Champion faced off against Bryan at Elimination Chamber this past Sunday. Both put on a classic contest to kick off the show.

Bryan won in the end, but he gave Gulak a great opportunity to showcase his talent. But it looks like Gulak isn’t done with Bryan yet.

He may come after him again tonight. Either Gulak will attack Bryan, or challenge him to a rematch. WWE might just give us Bryan vs. Gulak 2 tonight.
