2. Bayley vs. Nikki Cross – SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Nikki Cross faced Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown. Cross gave a pretty tough time to the SmackDown Women’s Champion but the numbers game proved to be too much for her in the end. Just when she started gaining momentum against Bayley, Sasha Banks interrupted in the match to help Bayley turn the tables.
Bayley couldn’t capitalize on the helping hand The Boss gave her as Cross started overpowering her again. However, Cross finally lost in the end when Banks pushed her from the top rope to help Bayley get the win.
Bayley will be looking for her next opponent after her Triple-Threat match at Survivor Series last night. One of the strongest contenders to face her is Cross.
The two haven’t settled scores yet. Cross will be looking for another title shot against Bayley after almost winning the title last time. Her impressive performance over the past few weeks may earn her a title match against Bayley at TLC 2019.
