2. Braun Strowman Pins Goldberg To Win The Universal Championship
The Universal Championship is set to be defended this weekend at WrestleMania 36 in the recently announced match between Braun Strowman and Goldberg. It was most likely going to change hands at the Show Of Shows until Roman Reigns pulled out of the match.
In such a short time span after Reigns pulled out of the event, WWE had to insert The Monster Among Men in the match without any build-up. Due to this reason, WWE might not have a Title change in the match, because defeating Goldberg is a big deal and they won’t just give it away like that.
They could go on with the WWE Hall Of Famer as the Universal Champion as they’re reportedly taking a break after the Show Of Shows anyway.
However, Strowman pinning Goldberg to win his first Universal Championship would be a huge surprise, as he would become the 3rd person to defeat him, since his return.
If WWE wants a full-time champion after WrestleMania, then we could experience this surprise at WrestleMania.
