2. The New Day Retains The SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Revival’s first reign as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions came to an end last month on SmackDown in the UK when Big E and Kofi Kingston defeated them to become 7-Time Tag Team Champions.
The rivalry was reignited last week on SmackDown when The Top Guys defeated Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party and Mustafa Ali & Shorty G to become the #1 contenders for New Day’s Titles.
After a series of normal matches, the two teams will collide in a Ladder match tonight. Kingston and Big E are expected to walk out with the Titles tonight as WWE seemingly doesn’t have any plans for Dash and Dawson.
They were only added to the match as Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode could not face The New Day due to Roode’s 30 Days Suspension which came just 5 days before TLC.
