4. A SmackDown Wrestler Faces Apollo Crews For The United States Championship
After defeating Andrade to win the United States Championship last week on RAW, Apollo Crews is already going to have his first Title defense against an opponent of his choosing tonight.
There’s a possibility that someone from SmackDown will be chosen by Apollo, so WWE can promote the brand invitation rule. In addition, it could be the name who may have been traded to RAW for AJ Styles. Perhaps King Corbin.
If not from SmackDown, then it will most likely be Andrade or Angel Garza challenging Crews. Andrade could obviously do so for a rematch, while Garza would challenge him to avenge his partner’s loss last week.
Garza also got a big win over Kevin Owens last week, and WWE officials are high on him too, so him facing Crews could be the start of an incoming push for him.
