– Former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane left WWE in the summer of 2020 after her contract expired and went back to Japan to work in STARDOM.
According to PWInsider, the Pirate Princess has come to terms on a new deal with WWE and could return to the company as soon as this week.
She is scheduled to hold a press conference today, where she’ll likely give an update on her status.
There is a possibility she returns to reunite with Asuka, as she was paired with her as part of The Kabuki Warriors before she went to STARDOM. They even held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles together.
Sane was written off WWE programming after being attacked by Bayley on an episode of RAW in July 2020.
– Finn Balor challenged Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam, but failed to capture the title.
Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest showed up during the match and put his Money In The Bank briefcase in the ring for Balor to use. Priest distracted the referee, but the plan backfired as The Visionary stomped Balor’s head on top of the briefcase and pinned him to win the match.
There was tension between the two Judgment Day members after the match.
After the match, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion JD McDonagh tweeted in support of Balor and said he deserves better.

WWE has shown Balor in a couple of segments with McDonagh on RAW over the past couple of months.
This could be a hint that McDonagh, who was trained by Balor in the past, will replace Priest in the Judgment Day as a better choice.
Another possibility could be Balor leaving the Judgment Day.
– As seen in the main event of SummerSlam, Jimmy Uso returned and turned heel on his brother Jey, thus helping Roman Reigns retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and remain The Tribal Chief.
