• 90s Wrestlers Would Have Beaten Up Logan Paul, Says Top AEW Star

Kenny Omega has shared strong opinions about the current direction of professional wrestling, especially regarding the rise of celebrities and influencers in the sport.

Speaking with Adi Shankar, Omega said it’s much easier to enter pro-wrestling today than it was in the past. He used Logan Paul as an example of someone who would not have been accepted by the locker room in the 1990s.

“It’s remarkably easier nowadays. It’s easier because a guy like Logan Paul would have been beaten up in like ’92. They would have beaten him up in the locker room, like, ‘What are you doing here?’ You know what I mean? It was a closed ecosystem back then,” Omega said.

Omega also questioned the future of wrestling and how much actual experience matters anymore. He joked that in the coming years, WWE could feature a WrestleMania main event between Logan Paul and YouTube star MrBeast.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever said this publicly or not, but I think we’re headed down a path where, a couple WrestleManias from now, the main event’s going to be Logan Paul versus Mr. Beast.

And it’s like, what’s the wrestling acumen? How many miles have they actually put into this? You know? But does it even matter anymore?” he said.

WWE Superstar Natalya made her debut for the NWA at the Crockett Cup on May 17.

The WWE Veteran faced Kenzie Paige for the NWA Women’s Championship. She used her Rage Against the Machine theme song, which she had also used in GCW Bloodsport.

Kenzie Paige won the match and retained her title. Gail Kim was originally supposed to be the special guest referee, but missed the event due to illness.
