• SmackDown Wrestler Says He Asked WWE To Put Liv Morgan In His Faction

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn paired up with Shinsuke Nakamura last year, who was the Intercontinental Champion at that time. Zayn speaking for Nakamura led to him calling himself “The Great Liberator”.

Later, they added Cesaro to their team too.

While giving his thoughts on the “Liv Forever” documentary on Liv Morgan on Twitter, Zayn said that he pitched the idea of having Morgan in his faction last year, but it wasn’t approved.

“Really enjoyed #LivForever on @WWENetwork.

Fun fact, when I first started doing “The Great Liberator” I pitched hard to get @YaOnlyLivvOnce with me, but she got drafted to Raw. There is SO much to her. Can’t wait to see her one day become Women’s Champ.”

Old School WWF Attitude Era Superstar “Captain Charisma” Christian (Real name: William Jason Reso) turns 47 today.

Christian debuted on World Wrestling Federation TV in 1998, right at the peak of the famous Attitude Era and was forced to retire in 2014 due to a concussion.

While Christian had a pretty good singles career, especially later on during the Ruthless Aggression Era, he’s still mostly considered a Tag Team Wrestling Legend due to his legendary run with Edge from 1998 till 2001, including 7 reigns as WWF World Tag Team Champions.

Between November 2005 and November 2008, he wrestled for Total Nonstop Action! (TNA) under the name Christian Cage.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTIAN!
