• John Cena Issues His First Statement After Loss At SummerSlam 2021
In the main event of this Saturday’s SummerSlam 2021 pay-per-view, Roman Reigns defeated John Cena to retain the Universal Championship.
After the PPV went off the air, Brock Lesnar hit Cena with 2 German Suplexes and an F5.

According to PWInsider, “Summer Of Cena” is officially over and WWE Officials are moving forward with the understanding that he won’t be available for matches and appearances for the foreseeable future due to his Hollywood commitments.
Cena also confirmed that he’s going away from WWE now. Here’s what he posted on Twitter today:
“Words cannot describe how appreciative I am that the @WWEUniverse allowed me the opportunity to return and perform.
Thank you staff, superstars, and most of all FANS for giving me an unforgettable summer at “home” with my “family”. The journey takes me away now but I’ll C U soon.”
