• New Name For The Elimination Chamber Revealed

In 2020, WWE began doing one of the two Saudi Arabia PPVs of the year before WrestleMania, and that is going to be the case this year as well.

According to Andrew Zarian, WWE is planning to return to Saudi Arabia on February 19th for Super ShowDown 2022. This will happen on a Saturday, as opposed to the usual Thursday PPV in Saudi.

Fightful Select is now reporting that a separate Elimination Chamber PPV will not take place this year.

Instead of a separate PPV, the Elimination Chamber match will take place at next month’s Saudi PPV:

“As of now, the working plan is for the Elimination Chamber match and structure to take place at the February Saudi Arabia show.

We’re unsure of the Premium Live Event name will follow that, or if they’ll opt for something different. Some staff that is working with WWE in the area have also been briefed of these plans.”

The Wrestling Observer added that WWE is planning to rename the Elimination Chamber to the WrestleMania Chamber.
