• Stone Cold Steve Austin Could Face Top RAW Star At WrestleMania 38
WrestleMania 38 will will take place in Texas and WWE wants “The Texas Rattlesnake” Stone Cold Steve Austin to have a match at the biggest show of 2022.
Here’s what Fightful Select reported:
“WWE has made a significant overture towards one of the biggest draws in WWE history Stone Cold Steve Austin for an in-ring return at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas.
Austin has not wrestled in 19 years, with his last match taking place at WrestleMania 19.
Since then, many WWE Superstars have tried to conjure Austin out of retirement, but it hasn’t happened out of yet.”
IF Austin decides to have a match, then his opponent is expected to be Kevin Owens, who uses the Stone Cold Stunner during his matches.
The seeds for this possible match were planted on tonight’s RAW, where Owens insulted Texas and it’s people.
"The one good thing about not being on #WrestleMania … it means I won't have to compete in Dallas, Texas."
