• AEW Rampage Results – Sting Takes A Nasty Fall, Great Muta Appears (Video)
All Elite Wrestling taped tonight’s 2-hour AEW Rampage: Grand Slam special episode after Wednesday’s Dynamite went off the air.
Below are the results:
– Sting & Darby Allin def. Buddy Matthews & Brody King in a No DQ match
During the match, Sting was handcuffed and Buddy was about to hit him with the baseball bat, but The Great Muta made a surprise appearance to make the save for Sting.
Sting then went on to pin Matthews to pick up the win. After the match, Sting & Great Muta celebrated, which received the biggest pop of the night.

– FTW Champion Hook (Taz’s son) & Action Bronson def. Angelo Parker & Matt Menard
– TNT Champion Wardlow & ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe def. Tony Nese & Josh Woods
– Jungle Boy def. AEW World Trios Champion Rey Fenix
After the match, Christian Cage came out and bragged about squashing Jungle Boy at All Out, and declared that Luchasaurus is his Right Hand of Destruction. Luchasaurus then assaulted Jungle Boy.
– ROH World Champion Chris Jericho said that he is now the most honorable man in AEW, and announced a Jericho Appreciation Celebration for himself on next week’s Dynamite in Philadelphia.
– Eddie Kingston def. Sammy Guevara
Kingston didn’t let go of the submission even after the match was over, which led to the referee overturning the decision and declaring Sammy the winner.
– Jade Cargill (c) def. Diamante to retain the TBS Women’s Championship
– Hangman Page won the Golden Ticket Battle Royale to earn the right to face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship on the October 18th episode of Dynamite
– Ricky Starks def. Powerhouse Hobbs in a Lights Out Match

On this day in Pro Wrestling history in 1985, the World Wrestling Federation held a televised house show at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
It was televised on the MSG Network and featured Jesse “The Body” Ventura & Gorilla Monsoon on commentary.
