• “I don’t want to disappoint a bunch of fans” – Ric Flair Clarifies His Recent Comments

2-Time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair recently said the following on his podcast after hearing the news of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat coming out of retirement after 12 years for a match next month:

“Steamboat coming back makes me want to come back again. I went back up to Lincoln and started training again. What else is there to do?”

On the latest episode of his podcast, Flair clarified his comments and said he’s not planning to wrestle again.

Below is what The Nature Boy said:

“None (interest in wrestling again). When I say that it inspires me to want to do it again (they think I’m doing it). I’ll stand by this, I wish I hadn’t said it was my last match.

I don’t want to disappoint a bunch of fans by doing it again but I got myself in good shape and made one drastic mistake by not hydrating (before my Last Match on July 31st).

I feel great. I feel like as long as you’re healthy and you want to do it then you should do what you want to do when you get to my age.”
