• Vince McMahon Yelled At WWF Legend For Doing Moonsaults
On a recent episode of his weekly ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ podcast, the 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist revealed that he was yelled at by Vince McMahon, after he performed a Moonsault despite being a heavyweight wrestler and not a cruiserweight.
Here’s what Kurt Angle said:
“I got yelled at a couple of times when I first started doing the moonsault off the top rope. Vince was like, ‘Listen, you’re not a small guy, you’re a big guy,’ and I said, ‘Vince, but I can do it, that’s actually impressive.’
He said, ‘Yeah, you’re right, but don’t use it a lot, just every once in a while,’ and he was right.”
Kurt Angle wrestled his final professional wrestling match at the WWE WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view on April 7th 2019, which he lost to Baron Corbin.
The former 11-time World Heavyweight Champion (2x WWF Champion, 2x WWE Champion, 1x World Heavyweight Champion in WWE, 6x TNA World Champion) has been officially retired ever since.
