After losing the TNT Championship to Kyle Fletcher on AEW Collision, Dustin Rhodes tweeted the following:
“Sorry guys, feel like I failed my fans. Gonna be out for a while as Doc said I need a very invasive major surgery. MRI’s and cat scans this week, due to Kyle Fletcher. In any case, for the time I was the face of TNT was special to me. I will never take what I have for granted. I am in a terrible amount of pain and have a hole in my leg, but that won’t stop me from #KeepSteppin”
According to Fightful Select, Dustin Rhodes is undergoing double knee surgery and will be out of action until 2026. Dustin currently holds the ROH Tag Team Championship and the ROH 6-Man Tag Team Championship.

Seth Rollins’ shocking Money in the Bank cash-in at the end of SummerSlam Saturday has set off a wave of speculation – not just about the title change, but about whether WWE worked its own talent by faking his injury. According to PWInsider, WWE went to great lengths to sell Rollins’ knee injury as legitimate. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the company treated the injury as entirely real, and Rollins was even sent to Birmingham, Alabama – a city known for housing WWE’s go-to orthopedic specialists.
“If Rollins’ injury was a work all along, very few people were in on it and the company also worked the talent and employees,” the report stated. “Rollins would have also worked his students. That is a slippery slope.”
The surprise return and cash-in moment came after CM Punk defeated Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship, catching nearly everyone – including backstage staff – off guard. It now appears that not only were fans unaware, but possibly even WWE talent, production crew, and Rollins’ own students at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy were kept in the dark.
The report raises concerns about internal trust if WWE did indeed blur the lines between fiction and reality with its own roster. “If you start working the talent (if that is what they did) it can definitely create mistrust,” PWInsider warned.
Speaking of Seth, WWE has filed to trademark “The Vision.” According to Fightful Select, this is going to be the name of Seth Rollins’ faction, which also consists of Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed.

At SummerSlam 2025 – Night 1, Jelly Roll made his WWE in-ring debut. He teamed up with Randy Orton to lose to Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. Logan pinned Jelly. According to Fightful Select, the original plan was for Jelly and Randy to pick up the win. However, WWE changed the finish on the day of the show. Jelly was said to be fine with the idea.
During the post-show, Triple H praised Jelly’s performance and the work he put in, and said the following about his future:
“I don’t think I can stop him (from returning for more matches). He’s already talked to me about coming back, he’s already talked to me about doing more. We’ll see when the time is right and you know, when you have that level of respect for people, then you wanna see them be able to have that opportunity again so, we’ll be talking and we’ll see what he can do. I’m sure he’s got some payback coming for Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. So, we’ll see.”
Jelly Roll said the following about his debut match:
“It’s right up there next to marrying my wife and the birth of my child. Literally, the greatest show I’ve ever done. It feels right up there with the first time I played the Ryman Auditorium or the Grand Ole Opry. It was spiritual. It was special. Even getting my a$$ kicked a bunch. It’s funny to get your butt kicked and still feel kind of good about it. I’m sore, I’m hurt, but I’m not injured. I was a kid tonight. That’s the shoot on it. 12-year-old Jelly just exploding inside.”

At SummerSlam 2025 – Night 1, Tiffany Stratton defeated Queen of the Ring Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. After the match, Stratton tweeted:
