During the Women’s Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam 2025 – Night 2, Becky Lynch was about to attack Lyra Valkyria with a crowbar, but Bayley appeared and stopped her. Becky gave the crowbar to Bayley and told her to attack Lyra, but Bayley couldn’t. Becky was about to attack Bayley, but Bayley saw it coming and beat her up.
In the end, Bayley accidentally punched Lyra, which resulted in Becky hitting the Manhandle Slam on Lyra for the win.

Lyra can no longer challenge for the Women’s Intercontinental Title as long as Becky is champion. In an update from Bodyslam, Becky’s next feud is going to be against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella and it will begin on tonight’s RAW.

In the main event of SummerSlam 2025 – Night 2, Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena in a Street Fight to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. In an emotional scene after the match, Cena put over Rhodes. Brock Lesnar then returned to WWE after 2 years and laid out Cena with an F5.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE’s legal team cleared Lesnar to return 4 weeks ago. The Observer speculated this was due to confidence that the Janel Grant lawsuit will either head to arbitration or reach a settlement, making Lesnar’s involvement less risky.
They also confirmed that WWE canceled their usual SummerSlam post-show press conferences specifically to avoid spoiling Lesnar’s return and to dodge potential legal questions from the media.

• Name of Seth Rollins’ Faction Finally Revealed
Seth Rollins’ shocking Money in the Bank cash-in at the end of SummerSlam Saturday has set off a wave of speculation – not just about the title change, but about whether WWE worked its own talent by faking his injury. According to PWInsider, WWE went to great lengths to sell Rollins’ knee injury as legitimate. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the company treated the injury as entirely real, and Rollins was even sent to Birmingham, Alabama – a city known for housing WWE’s go-to orthopedic specialists.
“If Rollins’ injury was a work all along, very few people were in on it and the company also worked the talent and employees,” the report stated. “Rollins would have also worked his students. That is a slippery slope.”
The surprise return and cash-in moment came after CM Punk defeated Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship, catching nearly everyone – including backstage staff – off guard. It now appears that not only were fans unaware, but possibly even WWE talent, production crew, and Rollins’ own students at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy were kept in the dark.
The report raises concerns about internal trust if WWE did indeed blur the lines between fiction and reality with its own roster. “If you start working the talent (if that is what they did) it can definitely create mistrust,” PWInsider warned.
Speaking of Seth, WWE has filed to trademark “The Vision.” According to Fightful Select, this is going to be the name of Seth Rollins’ faction, which also consists of Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed.
