• Former WWE Champion Supports What Raja Jackson Did

At an indy wrestling event in Los Angeles, the son of UFC Legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson made headlines for all the wrong reasons. A planned segment between wrestlers turned into a real-life assault when Raja Jackson, only 25, suddenly erupted in violence against wrestler Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith.

During a match at KnokX Pro Academy, Raja entered the ring and slammed Smith to the mat. What initially appeared to be part of the show quickly devolved as Raja began raining over 20 punches onto an already incapacitated opponent. The graphic scene unfolded live on the Kick streaming platform and prompted intervention from nearby wrestlers who eventually pulled him off.

The violence didn’t go unnoticed – police were called to the scene, and the Los Angeles Police Department has launched a formal investigation. Raja’s actions are no longer just a matter of entertainment gone wrong; they’re being treated as a criminal incident.

Syko Stu was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but is now “fine and recovering” according to TMZ.

Rob Van Dam Supports What Raja Jackson Did

Former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam tweeted the following about the Raja Jackson – Syko Stu incident:

“So far, I got Raja’s back. Looking forward to talking about it on my podcast.”

RVD also retweeted the following tweet from a fan:

“What people don’t understand is that the pro wrestler smashed a beer can on Raja’s head without even consulting him before hand. Raja didn’t even do anything until he found a loophole he could take advantage of, which was the promoter’s permission to get his receipt.”

KnokX Pro labeled the attack “reprehensible”, calling it an unprecedented act of violence in their 17-year history:

“First and foremost our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) as he remains a priority and we are monitoring his well being.

What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith. This egregious act is reprehensible and never should have occurred.

In the 17 years of operation of KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything as heinous take place such as this and we apologize to our patrons and fans.”

Meanwhile, Rampage Jackson addressed the situation on social media, expressing deep concern for both parties. He revealed Raja had recently suffered a concussion and shouldn’t have taken part physically. “As a father, I am deeply concerned with his health and the well-being of Mr. Smith,” he wrote.
