The road to No Mercy continued on last night’s WWE NXT, which was quite an eventful episode. Below are the results from the show:
– Josh Briggs defeated Je’Von Evans via pinfall.
– Oba Femi had an argument with Ricky Saints in NXT General Manager Ava’s office. She booked them to appear on The Grayson Waller Effect at NXT Homecoming next week.
Trick Williams showed up to ask Ava if she was okay with him confronting DIY. He then poked fun at Saints for not knowing about championships and told Femi that they’re not done yet.
– DIY were interrupted by Trick Williams, who told them he didn’t show up alone. Carmelo Hayes returned to NXT to set up Hayes and Williams vs. DIY at NXT Homecoming.
– Lainey Reid defeated Faby Apache via pinfall to advance to the finals of the WWE Speed Women’s Tournament.
– A vignette for Blake Monroe aired in which she sent a warning to Jordynne Grace.
– DarkState defeated Hank Walker and Tank Ledger to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship.
– Lexis King bragged to Charlie Dempsey about his Blindfold Match win over Myles Borne last week. Borne stormed in with a steel chair, turned off the lights, attacked King and warned him that they weren’t done yet.
– Tavion Heights defeated Ethan Page in a Flag Match. Tyler Breeze returned after the match and took a selfie with a laid out Page.
– The Culling defeated The Fatal Influence and ZaRuca in a Triple-Threat Elimination Tag Team Match to become the number one contenders for Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss’ Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton returned to NXT after the match to set up a 6-Woman Tag Team Match against The Fatal Influence at Homecoming.
