• WWE Wrestler Injured At TNA TV Taping

WWE NXT Superstar Ridge Holland has recently been working in TNA as part of the crossover deal between NXT and TNA.

During Saturday’s TNA taping in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the former NXT Tag Team Champion faced Moose. However, the match had to be stopped midway after Holland got hurt. He seemingly suffered an ankle or leg injury after landing awkwardly during the bout.

He was unable to put weight on the injured leg and had to be helped backstage. Moose and an official were seen assisting him to the back.

Ridge Holland lost to Mike Santana at TNA Victory Road this past Friday.

• Former WWE Stars Win Titles In TNA (Spoiler)

During Saturday night’s TNA taping in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, The IInspiration (fka The IIconics in WWE) defeated The Elegance Brand to win the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship.

This was the second time Cassie Lee (fka Peyton Royce) and Jessica McKay (fka Billie Kay) captured the Knockouts Tag Titles. It also made them the only female duo to hold Tag Team gold in both WWE and TNA.

Both stars were let go by WWE during the spring 2021 wave of releases. They quickly found a new home in TNA later that year, but went on hiatus in early 2022. After a 3-year long absence, they finally made their highly anticipated return to TNA this summer.

• Big Return Announced For AEW Dynamite’s 6-Year Anniversary

Kenny Omega was brutally assaulted by The Don Callis Family during the main event of the September 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, which led to him being stretchered out of the 2300 Arena.

Fightful Select reported that the former AEW World Champion was written off TV as he had a hiatus planned in advance and was going to travel to Japan.

The Cleaner’s time off from action didn’t last long as he will return on the 6-Year Anniversary episode of Dynamite this Wednesday.

On AEW Collision, it was announced that Kenny Omega will team up with AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido in a Trios Match against Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks.

• WWE Announces “Invasion” vs. AEW Dynamite – Hardy Boyz In Title For Title Match

At the NXT No Mercy PLE, General Manager Ava announced “Invasion” for Tuesday, October 7th. This show will feature the following:

– Oba Femi vs. TNA World Champion Trick Williams (everyone is banned from ringside – there must be a winner)

– Title For Title – Winner Take All Match: NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState vs. TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy)

– Men’s Survivor Series Match: Team NXT vs. Team TNA

– Women’s Survivor Series Match: Team NXT vs. Team TNA

This Invasion show will go head-to-head with a special “Title Tuesday” edition of AEW Dynamite.

Ava and Santino Marella will announce their picks for Team NXT and Team TNA this Tuesday.
