• AEW Star Will Be Out Of Action For The Rest Of 2025
On last night’s episode of AEW Collision, TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher attacked Hologram backstage.
Later in the show, it was announced that Hologram is no longer medically cleared to compete after the attack.
Fletcher said he will defend his TNT Title against another member of The Conglomeration on the 6-year anniversary of Dynamite and it’s going to be Orange Cassidy.
AEW President Tony Khan gave the following update on Hologram:
“Get well soon, Hologram!
After an unprovoked attack backstage at AEW Collision by TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, Hologram has significant injuries.
We’re all cheering for Hologram + wishing him the best in his recovery. Sadly, Hologram likely is out the rest of 2025.”
• Bret Hart Reveals How He Avoided Losing To “Piece Of Sh*t” Triple H
Bret Hart has never been shy about naming the wrestlers he didn’t get along with, and two names that come up often are Goldberg and Triple H.
While speaking at an Inside The Ropes live show, the 3-time WWE Hall of Famer shared a story about an episode of RAW in Germany back in February 1997, where he was originally supposed to lose to Triple H.
“I wrestled him a couple of times. He was always trying to beat me. We did Monday Night RAW in Germany, and he was part of the booking now.
He was in the booking committee with Vince and Jerry Brisco and all these guys. I get to Germany, which is one of my biggest markets ever. There was never a star in Germany like I was.”
The Hitman then recalled what happened backstage before the match. He said the booking didn’t sit right with him and he wanted to speak to Vince McMahon before agreeing to it.
“I get in the dressing room and Triple H is beating me; 1, 2, 3, in the middle of the ring. They kind of cornered me in the dressing room. Triple H is staring at me. (Brisco speaking), ‘This is what you’re doing. Triple H is gonna go over.’
I listened to them and I was like, ‘I want to talk to Vince. I’m not doing anything until I talk to Vince.’ I never refused to lose to anybody, except for Shawn at Survivor Series.”
He then discussed why the booking didn’t make sense with McMahon.
“I said, ‘Why would you beat me in Germany? It’s a country where I’m super over. Why would you beat me with a guy who is not over? Why would you beat me in the middle of the ring, and I’m wrestling Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13 a week from now? You’re going to beat me on RAW, pin me in the middle of the ring, and then you want me to wrestle Austin and do what?’
Vince looked like somebody hit him with a sledgehammer. He goes, ‘You’re right. We have to change it.’”
Hart said he could tell Triple H wasn’t happy about it.
“You could see Triple H turn white. He didn’t get to beat me.
He had already mapped it out in his head that he was going to pin me and destroy me in Germany because he had the clout, which tells you what kind of piece of sh*t he was.
I foiled him, temporarily. He was out to get me.”
