• 2 AEW Stars Demand More TV Time From Tony Khan

The main event of the 6-Year Anniversary special episode of AEW Dynamite featured Darby Allin and AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander vs. The Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir in a Mixed Tornado Tag Team Match.

Allin and Statlander got the win after which the AEW Women’s World Champion got into a brawl with “Timeless” Toni Storm, while Allin was choked out by The Death Riders.

After the match, Queen Aminata took to X to ask AEW President Tony Khan to give her more promo time and book her in Mixed Tag Team Matches like the one that took place last night.

“I’m just gonna put this out there ( cough… cough …. Tk lol ): I need more promo time and I would love to be in these mixed tag matches”

Deonna Purrazzo replied to Aminata’s tweet, demanding the same opportunity.

She tweeted: “Sign me up too…”

Aminata recently appeared on Collision to help Jamie Hayter against Triangle Of Madness, while Purrazzo hasn’t appeared on AEW programming since her loss to Harley Cameron on the February 26 episode of Dynamite.

• Triple H Didn’t Like RAW Star’s Old Entrance Theme

RAW Superstar “Big” Bronson Reed used to come out to Guillotine by Death Grips when he was wrestling on the independent circuit. He misses the theme, but WWE won’t let him use it.

Speaking on AFL Today, The Vision member said that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H isn’t a fan of the song.

“Those things are important. When you come out for your entrance, it sets the tone, so I always wanted something that was distinctive. I have that with WWE, it’s obviously a bigger scale and budget. They like to do their own in-house music, but I do miss my old music sometimes.

Well, the thing is, this is going to expose my boss, but he’s a good dude. I once showed Guillotine to Triple H and he was not a fan. I think maybe he didn’t listen to it in the right atmosphere. You know, listening to something on your phone and then hearing some crazy man start rambling.

I’m like, if you heard it in an arena with the bass and the treble and stuff, then you would understand it works. But yeah, he was not a fan of Guillotine.”

• Chris Jericho Comments On The 35th Anniversary Of His Debut Match

Chris Jericho took to X to celebrate the 35th anniversary of his pro wrestling debut today. He tweeted:

“Crazy to think it’s been 35 years to the day of my VERY FIRST MATCH! I faced Lance Storm in Ponoka, Alberta, at the Ponoka Moose Hall, in front of about 85 people. I have had a wonderful, amazing, one-in-a-million career since then, and the good news is….IT AIN’T OVER YET!”

The former AEW World Champion has been on a hiatus since April and his contract with Tony Khan’s promotion is rumored to expire at the end of the year. There has been speculation about him returning to WWE for a final run next year.

• Matt Riddle Attacks TMZ Host Mid-Interview (Video)

Matt Riddle has found himself in controversy once again. He recently appeared on TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, where things heated up after the former WWE United States Champion felt disrespected by the host Branson Quirke.

During the interview, Riddle discussed the idea of fighting Jake Paul and took a shot at Paul’s track record, pointing out that most of his opponents were well past their prime.

Quirke then told Riddle that he doesn’t think The Original Bro could knock Paul out, which set him off. He accused Riddle of looking for a payday by mentioning Paul.

“I feel like you’re kind of looking more so for a payday. No, that’s not what I’m trying to say.”

Riddle responded:

“This is the thing, when people either say, ‘That’s not what I’m trying to say,’ or ‘No disrespect.’ When you f***ing say something disrespectful. Let’s be honest, I’ve done your f***ing sh*tty podcast how many times? 3-4 f***ing times? I’m not even f***ing here to talk to you, motherf***er.

I’m here to wrestle at MLW where I was the former World Champion. I’m about to be the f***ing World Champion again. I don’t know why you bring up CM Punk, I get a bunch of f***ing headaches all the f***ing time.”

Riddle then got out of his chair and went after the reporter.

“What are you f***ing worried about? Yeah? Are you f***ing serious? Take that sh*t off. F***ing tired of this sh*t.”

The scuffle saw Riddle shove Quirke onto a table and then knock him to the ground again when he tried to get back up.

Many fans believe that the altercation was staged, as the co-host was seen laughing during the attack and even Riddle cracked a smile in the middle of it.
