• Samoa Joe Reacts To AJ Styles’ Tribute To Him During John Cena Match

John Cena and AJ Styles put on a classic in their final encounter at WWE Crown Jewel in Australia last Saturday. The match featured tributes to several past opponents of The GOAT and The Phenomenal One.

During the match, Styles locked Cena in the Coquina Clutch, a move famously used by Samoa Joe, with whom he shares a lot of history.

Speaking with SHAK Wrestling, Joe praised both Cena and Styles, saying it was cool that they shouted him out during the match.

“I haven’t seen the match yet, I’ve been out working all weekend. It’s incredibly cool. Both those men are people I have unyielding respect for. I’m so happy to see they’ve enjoyed the successes they have had in their life. It was wonderful to be thought of in their big moment.

AJ is one of the few wrestlers who changed the face of wrestling. He’s definitely the prototype of an ideal wrestler and expanded that category. Much like John, both had fantastic careers. I know for many fans it’s sad to see them go, and I can obviously see why. They’ve been such a big part of the industry for so long.

They really have careers they can kick back their feet and look at with tremendous pride and satisfaction. I’m always happy to see people enter that phase of their life in a healthy manner with great future prospects of other things on the horizon.”

Samoa Joe is set to battle “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream this Saturday.

CM Punk wrote the following message for wrestling fans on his Instagram story:

“We unfortunately have to have this conversation again. Do not turn up at airports. Do not show up at hotels. I cannot believe I have to say this. DO NOT FOLLOW PEOPLE.

You’ve repeatedly been politely told no, respect it. You are not a fan, you are a stalker and will be treated as such. Respect the boundaries. Stop harassing people.”

The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado for her efforts in promoting democracy and human rights. The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised her leadership in advocating for political freedom in Venezuela.

John Cena was recently approached by a street interviewer to get his opinion on the result. The 17-time World Champion was signing an autograph for a fan when the interviewer asked him:

“Do you think Donald Trump should have won the Nobel Prize?”

Cena denied to comment and replied:

“No, thank you.”

The G.O.A.T then walked away.
