• Enzo Amore: WWE Will Get Highest Ratings In A Decade If I Face Roman Reigns

Enzo Amore was known for his energetic mic skills, which made him one of the most entertaining talkers during his time in NXT and on the WWE main roster. He was released by WWE in 2018 following $exual assault allegations that were later dropped.

In an interview with the No Contest Wrestling podcast, he praised himself and said that he could bring major ratings if given the chance to share the ring with Roman Reigns and WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.

“I’m telling you right now – you put me on that microphone and send me out there with Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns, you’re going to see a rating pop that you haven’t seen in a decade.

I believe that if you let me tell my story about how Dusty Rhodes would look at me after I cut a promo and say, ‘Daniel, that was some John Wayne sh*t,’ you’d see something special.”

He also addressed a potential WWE return during the conversation.

“You know, people ask me all the time, ‘Bro, when are you going back to WWE?’ I mean, it’s the most common question I get everywhere I go. And to be honest with you, I’ve never called them. I’ve reached out via text message, I’ve gotten responses, which is cool, but I’ve never actually picked up the phone. And they never called me, that’s for damn sure.”

• “I don’t think he’s the right booker for AEW” – WWE Hall Of Famer On Tony Khan

D-Von Dudley has recently been very vocal about his issues with All Elite Wrestling. He believes that the company isn’t being managed properly.

Speaking on The Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed the topic once again and said that AEW’s real problem isn’t its roster, but Tony Khan’s creative leadership.

“I’ve never buried the man. I’ve got no hard feelings. I just don’t think he’s the right booker for the company, even though he’s the guy that financially takes care of everybody. Listen, Dixie Carter financially took care of everybody in TNA at the time, but she wasn’t a booker.

And I’ve always said get somebody that can come in and help you book instead of the people you have surrounding you. I’ll always put the company over in terms of talent. I think the talent is great there. But it’s not the talent’s fault if the ratings or the houses aren’t up.

I can imagine if WWE had every single one of the AEW talents they have right now… oh yeah, that place would be unstoppable. NXT would be unstoppable.”

D-Von recently claimed that many wrestlers in AEW aren’t happy with the way the company is being run.
