• “I don’t think he’s the right booker for AEW” – WWE Hall Of Famer On Tony Khan
D-Von Dudley has recently been very vocal about his issues with All Elite Wrestling. He believes that the company isn’t being managed properly.
Speaking on The Duke Loves Rasslin podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed the topic once again and said that AEW’s real problem isn’t its roster, but Tony Khan’s creative leadership.
“I’ve never buried the man. I’ve got no hard feelings. I just don’t think he’s the right booker for the company, even though he’s the guy that financially takes care of everybody. Listen, Dixie Carter financially took care of everybody in TNA at the time, but she wasn’t a booker.
And I’ve always said get somebody that can come in and help you book instead of the people you have surrounding you. I’ll always put the company over in terms of talent. I think the talent is great there. But it’s not the talent’s fault if the ratings or the houses aren’t up.
I can imagine if WWE had every single one of the AEW talents they have right now… oh yeah, that place would be unstoppable. NXT would be unstoppable.”
D-Von recently claimed that many wrestlers in AEW aren’t happy with the way the company is being run.
• Former World Champion Nearing In-Ring Return In AEW
Thunder Rosa wrestled three consecutive nights during the 2025 AEW All In weekend, with her final appearance coming at All In: Texas as part of the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match. She was later reported to be dealing with an undisclosed injury and confirmed that she would be taking time off from in-ring competition.
In an interview with Midnight Movie Trash, the former AEW Women’s World Champion gave an update on her condition and revealed that she expects to return to the ring in the near future.
“I’m actually going to be part of the mega procession of Catrinas, which is in Mexico City in Reforma. There’s like 3 million people that are going to be part of this thing and I’m one of the people that are pulling the flag in the front. So I’m really excited as a Catrina myself. It’s been a journey, and having to celebrate my culture in America and now getting to celebrate it in Mexico is really fun.
I’m also doing a lot of work with the NFL and the Texans, that’s been a lot of fun. Right now I’m just focusing on continuing my rehab for the injuries I had a couple months ago, and I have really good news. Everything’s going really well, so I’m expecting to return to the ring fairly soon.”
