• Goldberg Walks Out Of Autograph Signing In New York

WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg was in New York this weekend for The Big Event, where he reunited with Sting and The Great Muta in one of the convention’s headline appearances. However, the day ended with some controversy involving a separate private signing he was booked for.

K&S WrestleFest shared the news on their Facebook page, explaining that they had all their merchandise ready for Goldberg to sign while he was finishing a private session with another vendor. Once that session ended, Goldberg stood up, said he was finished, and walked past their table without signing anything.

UPDATE: Promoter Says Goldberg Did Nothing Wrong In New Controversy

They wrote:

“Unfortunately Goldberg PRIVATE Signing did not happen. We had all our items laid out ready to sign as Goldberg was doing another private for another vendor. After he was done, he got up and said he was done… He walked out past our stuff, and left. We are all super disappointed and frustrated. My apologies to all…”

The Facebook post has now been deleted.

• Zena Sterling Teases Debuting As Blake Monroe’s “Minion”

Zena Sterling signed with WWE in 2023. She finished as the Women’s runner-up in the first season of LFG and reached the semi-finals in season two. Although she has not yet debuted on NXT programming, she has been gaining experience by working the developmental brand’s live events.

At a recent live event, the Ukrainian prospect teamed up with NXT Women’s North American Champion Blake Monroe in a losing effort against ZaRuca. Sterling later hinted at what could become her first on-screen character:

Monroe responded by offering her own name idea for the gimmick:

“Monroe Minion. Alliteration darling. So much to learn….”

Blake Monroe is set to defend the Women’s North American Championship against Sol Ruca during Week 1 of NXT Gold Rush this Tuesday. It will be Sol’s first match back since returning from injury.
