• Why WWE Didn’t Show Shane McMahon On Camera On RAW

Shane McMahon and his son were in attendance on this week’s RAW at Madison Square Garden, which featured the final red brand appearance on John Cena.

However, WWE didn’t show them on camera. Stephanie McMahon (along with her podcast co-host) was also in attendance and WWE showed her on camera.

Shane O’Mac wrote the following: “Honored to be at MSG with my son Rogan to celebrate a true legend in the business and my friend. #ThankYouCena”

According to Fightful Select, Shane wasn’t shown on camera because the celebrities that were shown in the crowd were there to promote specific projects, while Shane was simply attending as a guest. WWE sources emphasized that he was welcomed at the event.

• RAW Star Set To Retire At The End Of Current WWE Run

Nikki Bella made her WWE return earlier this year when she entered the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, later appearing again at the second Evolution Premium Live Event.

Since coming back, the WWE Hall of Famer has worked with several top stars, including Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Asuka, Chelsea Green and Roxanne Perez. She is now preparing for a Women’s World Championship match against Stephanie Vaquer at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Nikki revealed that this current run will be the last of her career, and said that she hopes to finish it alongside her twin sister Brie Bella.

“I know that however long this run is — a year, two years — it will be my last and final. In our industry, you never want to say never but I’m just being realistic.

I started with her [Brie] and I wanna end with her. I know everyone wants it and I think it would be really cool for the fans and as well for this new era.”

Brie recently stated that she is open to returning for one final run and wants it to be alongside Nikki.

• CW Frustrated With WWE NXT’s Ratings Drop (Read Statement)

WWE NXT signed a broadcast deal with The CW in 2023, and moved to the network last year after the developmental brand’s deal with the USA Network expired.

In September, Nielsen shifted from its traditional panel-only ratings system to a combination of Big Data and panel measurements. Previously, Nielsen tracked more than 42,000 homes and 100,000 people. The new system adds data from set-top boxes and smart TVs in 45 million homes across 75 million devices, giving a much larger sample to determine TV viewership in the United States.

According to Wrestlenomics, The CW expressed strong frustration over the change, saying that the Big Data results showed a sudden and substantial drop in NXT’s viewership that doesn’t match historical trends. The network criticized Nielsen for poor communication, a lack of transparency, and what they called a flawed methodology.

Below is the statement they issued:

“We’ve expressed to Nielsen our deep frustration with the way it handled the process, communication, and methodology behind its Big Data rollout.

The sudden and substantial discrepancy in WWE NXT viewership reported by Big Data, relative to long-established viewing patterns, is inexplicable and lacks credibility. Further, a comparison with data from all other measurement products (including others from Nielsen itself) exposes a fundamentally flawed methodology in Big Data.

We are disappointed by Nielsen’s lack of cooperation, transparency, and accountability with its network partners as we work to resolve this issue.”
